Great service!! Loved the food and the portions were huge for a fair price!!
Great food! BIG portions! Super nice folks, good atmosphere, just have to wait Abit sometimes as everything is cooked fresh.
Great fresh cooked breakfast--- giant portions
Great food, reasonable prices and good service.
Very good, excellent service, great food.
Best home cooked style food in the silver valley
Good food good service.
Probably the most delicious reuben I've ever had. The waitress was great, portions were big, we ate well. I'll be back before we leave town.
As traditional Idaho diner as it gets. I found the atmosphere nice and old fashion. Adorable miniature television for the diner with a talk show was on. Food appears to be homemade daily. I would rate the food 4 out of 5. The staff is friendly here.
Food was delicious. Service was outstanding. She was slammed but handled it beautifully. Will definitely go back.
Not bad for a lil mom n pop kinda place
Excellent service and great food.
Staff was friendly. Food was yummy and came out super quickly. Good price for the quality as well.
I drove all the way from New Orleans, and found my best breakfast (grilled salmon sandwich with salad side blue cheese sauce) in Idaho.
Good food Good prices Good people
Great food and great service 👍
Charming and quaint. My family enjoyed our visit. Burger was a little greasy but good. Had the flavor swirl ice cream (name?) Fair service, would definitely return.
Love this place! Lisa is always smiling, very friendly. We always go here when we visit. Great food and you never leave hungry
My food was happy to see me and my husband couldn't wait to dig into his.
Attitude of staff excellent, good quantity and quality of food
Friendly staff, quick service, good BLT and tots, parking in the shade on a hot day. I'll be back.
While traveling we adhere to the same principle we live by when we are home; eat local and avoid the cookie cutter national chain restaurants. Most of the time this is a good rule. In this case it was a great rule. Great food, wonderful pie, you really can't ask for anything more. Wonderful wait staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Been here twice while passing through.1st time for lunch, pretty good burgers. 2nd time for breakfast, waited 45 minutes while 4 table that came in after us got their food. Decided that was enough and left without eating. May have just been an off day but still disappointing.
Was a nice little find thanks to the local motel's recommendation. The food was good and the help was good and accommodating. Nice little small town dinner.
Good food! They do need more waitresses. The poor lady working last night had to do it all.. The food was amazing, and she did the best she could. Seemed to be able to get everyone taken care of with their food, but she was running as fast as she could, and there was a very long wait for the food to get to the tables. The dining room was full.
The food was okay - but slow service and being attacked by termites (or some flying ant like bug) made it had to enjoy the food. When the bugs were brought to the servers attention, her response was oh yeah we are trying to get rid of them....so they were fully aware of the bug issue and let us sit in the window seat and get attacked. Yuck!!
WORMS in Oatmeal!!!We had breakfast there on Veterans day and my 7 year old said, "There's bugs in my food." I'm thinking probably just one dead bug right... just eat it. Wrong! Her yogurt and oatmeal were covered in live mealworms (almost exactly like the worms pictured below - photo taken from other source). There were so many worms it appeared the oatmeal was moving. I don't know how the person serving this could have missed this and I called the owner and she didn't even bother to return my call.I don't know about the other reviews but my whole family is still horrified by the experience and I don't think we will ever eat oatmeal again. I will probably be reporting this meal to the health inspector. I would give them negative stars if I could. Be forewormed!!!
The place was busy and understaffed but the food was good except the hash browns. To start with the good our eggs and omelet were cooked perfectly. Loved the full sized coffee cups and that they left us a thermos of coffee. The server was cheerful and friendly. As for the bad. One server and a host for the place. Long wait for the food. All our hash browns were cold and undercooked. Mine were completely uncooked and the replacement ones were not much better. I will definatley go back but will make sure to order my hash browns well done.
This is a great stop. Amazing breakfast, wonderful service and prices that allow the whole family to eat. This is our new stop before skiing. UPDATE: We love this place! Every weekend come and we have the best waitress and kitchen staff take care of our 8 top. We never have a bad experience. Thank you for being kind to our loud table.
Great home cooked food
Great little hidden gem. The food here was delicious as could be. We loved it. The o my downside was that one waitress was not enough for the amount of people in the restaurant. Also, it took a long time to get our food after we ordered. But the selections are very few in Kellog, so this place works just fine.
Over an hour wait for food that’s ok, at best
Every time I go in service is great. They know what I like and how I like it
The 2nd time we have been there recently. Been going for years but something has changed. The last was a take out order. The burgers were like leather. Went there today for a 2nd chance. Once again the burgers were super dry and burnt. My husbands bacon was burnt. The waitress was very forgetful. Onion rings are so huge and too much batter to enjoy. Had to cut them in pieces to eat. We wont be going back anytime soon.
Good service and food!
Just as good as the first time. Nice mom and pop place. You get very large portions. Not happy with the nachos. Seemed like chips and cheese whiz. Diana was a very nice waitress.
Local eat breakfast any-time-of-the-day place. I had a daily special, a chicken fried steak sandwich with tots. They have 4 varieties of Tabasco sauce at each table. Great friendly service and atmosphere.
Signed up for the breakfast foods. While my cardiologist was not happy, I was.
Great food, great service, wonderful staff. Very hometown. Love Sam's.
Great breakfast! Excellent food and plenty of it. Location is conveniently located for quick on & off the freeway. Prices are fair.
The best breakfast ever
Cute place! Had the country fried steak and it was awesome :)
Good food!Really look forward to those fresh hashbrowns.Although the eggs benedict wasnt poached, the sause was amazing, and the healthy helping of delicious ham made it very enjoyable.
I called in ahead of time and had to wait 45 minutes for a 16$ burger that they ended up burning with fries that tasted like freezer burn! Would not recommend to my worst enemy
Waitress was friendly. Food took awhile to get, but it was good. Had chicken fried steak & eggs.
Is there best food, and service. ♥️
Good old fashioned full diner fare.
Good food...reasobale prices...friendly and great service.
Very good food and atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good service.
We had a group ok 7 and everyone enjoyed their food. I had the Western burger and it was excellent.
